In a world driven by technology we long for peace and security, gentleness and armony. Nature offers us this reassuring balance. The soft whitened tones and the warm browm hues stand for the eternal return to mother earth. The colors of parchment and wax, honey and snow, bark and hazelnut emanate the cosiness marking a home a haven. The whole range of colors looks best in pile and puffy fabrics, donegals, and -and jacquard knit, the pale shades in frosty high-tech finishes and women in mother of pearl highigts.

There is a growing interest in old myths and the enigmatic expression of gothic and monastic austerity. Inspiration for the Magna colors comes from Gothic style and the allegoric representations of celtic legends. Cold purple- and gray tints mix with greenish thermalmud shades. The colors cards is dark, reminescent of volcano landscapes in the moon light which makes flakes of tuff gimmer like platinum. A very commercial color palette for all types of fabrics, light and hairy, compact and felty, quited and with opaque shine, solid, faux-uni or changeant. Liquorice is an important color for leather.

The aquatic blues and graycasted greens are, together with skyblue and turf brown, the traditional glaze colors of the province Henan, the perfection of ancient Chinese pottery art. As an important color group to brighten up the winter grays they are used for wool classics, knit, brushed wintercottons and pile fabrics. Blurred color effects through heathered yarns are important. These cool blues are a perfect compliment to the earth tones on the card and work very well for tone-in-tone material mix. On shiny surfaces golden highlights gleam like glazed gold dust.

Wouldn«t we all like to bottle the bounty of summer flowers to preserve it for dull winter days! The Greenhouse color group identifies with this idea and juices up the winter monotony with saturated vegetal colors from the red and green family. For airy, silky materilas, fine gauge and coarse knit or compact and coated outerwear and pile fabrics. In spite of being colorful, the bougainvillea, poppy and carmine reds are subdued and can, together with the greens, have a sporty or artisanal look, or a lavish one if combined with oxidized yarns and trimmings, a new tren playing with the polarities of nature and kitsch.
